Biography

Where law, technology
and commerce meet.

Dionysios Pantazis is the Managing Partner of Pantazis & Associates. He is a dual-qualified commercial lawyer admitted in England & Wales and Greece, with over 16 years of experience spanning private practice, complex cross-border litigation and senior in-house roles at leading technology and telecoms corporations across Southeast Europe and the Middle East. That in-house vantage point is what clients notice first about Dionysios Pantazis as a lawyer: advice framed as a commercial decision.

Before returning to private practice, Dionysios served as General Counsel Southeast Europe at Huawei — one of the world's largest technology and telecommunications companies — overseeing legal strategy across 8 jurisdictions (Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia and Cyprus) and 4 business divisions. His responsibilities included public procurement and tender exclusion proceedings at government level, national security designation matters, EU competition law investigations, GDPR compliance architecture, and the negotiation of large-scale commercial agreements with governments, telecoms operators and enterprise clients.

This in-house experience at the intersection of law, technology, politics and commerce is what sets Dionysios's practice apart. He understands how technology companies actually operate under pressure — and how legal strategy must adapt to commercial reality, not the other way around. As a lawyer, Dionysios Pantazis has sat on the instructing side of the relationship, which changes how external advice is written.

In private practice, Dionysios advises clients on technology law (AI Act, GDPR, SaaS, cloud, emerging technologies), commercial litigation and international arbitration, M&A and corporate transactions, competition law, gaming regulation, and cross-border private international law matters. Technology and cross-border commercial matters can be discussed with him directly.

Dionysios Pantazis also holds rights of audience before the Supreme Court of Greece, which means cross-border matters can be carried through to cassation without instructing separate counsel at the final stage.
